Welcome to the Smyrna Middle School Panther Band! We are excited that your child has decided to participate in band and will have many exciting opportunities to grow and learn about music through band.
The Smyrna Middle School Panther Band is the largest student organization at SMS with over 170 student musicians! Our program offers students the ability to learn important skills such as: teamwork, communication, dedication, self-confidence and many other valuable learning experiences.
We want to help your child experience band in a positive way! We believe in open communication between teacher and parent and our door is always open to you. Email is the easiest and fastest way to get in touch with us.

Students will use Clever to access online textbooks and assignments in Schoology. Parents may see course material and student work in the Schoology Parent Portal. If you do not have access to your Schoology Parent Portal, please email me to obtain an access code.
