About Me

My name is Sheila Smotherman, and this is my 4th year teaching. I was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN, and I’m proud to be part of the Smyrna Middle School team. I’m the oldest sibling in my family, with a younger brother and sister who are twins. I’m recently engaged to my fiancé, who is an industrial electrician, and while I don’t have children of my own, I do have two cats who keep me entertained! In my free time, I love visiting aquariums and zoos—anything that lets me explore and learn more about the world around us.
