Happy Sunday Smyrna Middle Parents and Students,

  • Community Night is March 17th from 5:00-6:30pm.
  • The Scholastic Book Fair is here! Students can shop at the fair until Tuesday, March 18th. You can set up your child’s E-Wallet here: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/smyrnamiddleschool2  The book fair will be open for Literacy Night on March 17th. See you there!
  • We are in the approval process of our SMS Family Compact and Parent Involvement Policy, and we need your help. Using the links below, please review and choose to approve/not approve by completing the survey located at the very bottom of the document.

  • Stop by the library during Community Night for a "book tasting'. Families will learn strategies and activities to support your child's reading fluency and comprehension. Free books and resources will be available. If you can't make it to Community Night, this training will also occur on March 20. Join us for Bagels over Books at 9:00 a.m. or a zoom session at 1:30. A zoom link will be posted on the parent engagement page on March 20. 
  • On March 20th and 21st, Smyrna High counselors will come to SMS to register 8th graders for their high school courses.
