I graduated from David Lipscomb University in 2004 where I earned a Bachelors degree in Ministry. When my Bachelors degree ended, I post-backed to Middle Tennessee State University to complete my teaching license. I then earned a Masters in Administration and Supervision from Middle Tennessee State University.
I started my teaching career in Rutherford County in 2007. In 2008 I moved to Smyrna Middle School as a U.S. History teacher and coached football, girls basketball, and softball. Early in my career at Smyrna Middle School I was able to help out and serve as an interim principal for a period of time. There were many opportunities for me to further my educational experience in leadership by serving as Dean of Students and Department Chair for History.
I began my administrative career in 2014 as Assistant Principal at Smyrna Middle.
