Originally from Memphis, TN. I graduated from Cumberland University in 2003 where I earned a Bachelors degree in Psychology. I then earned a Masters in Special Education in 2008 from Tennessee State University and finished at Tennessee Technological University with a Specialist in Education in Instructional Leadership in 2011.
I started my teaching career in Rutherford County in 2006 as a Special Education Teacher at Stewarts Creek Middle. While there I coached the dance team and the Lavergne High School Cheerleaders. As Dean of Students and Department Head for Special Education for 3 years I received training in many areas that furthered my career into Administration.
I began my administrative career in 2015 as Assistant Principal at Smyrna Middle.
I am married to Christopher Chambers who is also an Assistant Principal at Lavergne High School.
