Welcome to Ms. Wood's Classroom
I am excited about the coming school year and meeting all of my new students! As we begin this 8th grade year, I am hopeful that students will be open to learning new concepts and feel comfortable asking questions and seeking help when needed.
Here are a few fun facts about me:
- I am a mom to three daughters and two dogs.
- I love word games, puzzles, and riddles.
- Traveling is a passion of mine, whether exploring another county in Tennessee or going to a different country, I enjoy experiencing new places and cultures.
- Teaching is a second career for me. I graduated in 2022 with my master's degree in education from Lipscomb University. I earned my undergraduate degree in Journalism from Auburn University many years ago.
